All OmniCare solutions are based on a client/server
architecture that uses UNIX (Solaris or AIX) and Oracle as its server service
platform, and Microsoft Windows for its clients. When required, Citrix
MetaFrame is used to enable clients for a distributed application
version of the solution. OmniCare uses a J2EE-based web services
architecture for customer self-service and B2B transactions. Web
applications are designed using a thin-client model. |
